NOMEX PAPER COMPOUND DIAPHRAGM
The Nomex Paper Compound diaphragm combines low moving mass with structural rigidity and the natural internal damping of paper. This allows it to follow rapid signal changes without masking the natural character of the music.
An extended-excursion moving assembly produces authoritative midbass while maintaining control during dynamic musical passages.
COMPACT NEODYMIUM MOTOR
The neodymium motor provides the magnetic force required for fast and controlled movement of the driver’s moving assembly. Its compact construction combines high magnetic efficiency with dimensions suited to vehicle installation.
CAST-ALUMINUM BASKET
The rigid cast-aluminum basket provides the mechanical foundation of the driver. It maintains precise alignment between the motor, suspension, and diaphragm while supporting defined cone movement.
FOR ACTIVE TWO-WAY AND THREE-WAY SYSTEMS
In an active two-way system, the ZW 165 covers a wide operating range up to its transition to the ZETA ZT 30. In a three-way system, it focuses on midbass and works with either the ZETA ZM 70 or the dedicated ZETA ZM 80.
In both applications, it forms the acoustic foundation of the front stage: fast, controlled, and tonally balanced.
