Recoil offers ferrules for professional installers, these connectors are small deformable metal tubes made out of silver or tin plated copper.

While the flexibility of stranded wire allows for much easier routing, the ends tend to splay apart. Once crimped with Recoil ferrules, the bundle is transformed into a solid-core wire. Ferrules greatly reduce the contact resistance between the wire and connector, and even help cut down on the oxidation in the strands because of the lack of air space between them.
